IMP DATA ACQUISITION MODULES

 IMP data acuisition module

 
The Solartron Isolated Measurement Pod (IMP) is a complete data acquisition module containing a 16 bit ADC, signal conditioning, communications to host computer, built in sensor energisation and a detachable connector block all contained in a NEMA3 /IP55 environmentally protected case.

IMPs can make precise measurements of dc voltage, current, temperature (using thermocouples or PRTs), resistance, strain, vibration, pressure, frequency, pulse counts, events and status.

Up to 1000 channels per second over 1.5 Km can be connected to a host computer using the S-Net high speed communications network.

The IMP system gives you precisely the information you need to control and monitor your plant, with maximum reliability, maximum flexibility and at a very competitive cost.

  IDAS can be used with IMPS data acquisition modules to monitor, log and display data from a wide variety of sensors to a PC running windows 2000, XP, NT or Vista. iDAS will automatically locate the different modules on a network and supports the configuration of inputs and outputs.
Data Monitoring    - user configurable screen displays.
Data logging   - multiple independent loggers, auto or manual start, data export facilities.
Trend display   - graphical display of logged data in real-time, pan and zoom operations.
Alarms   - high, low and event alarms, communication via e-mail, pager or SMS.
Calculator
 		 - real time calculator, common constants, statistical, trigonometric, logarithmic  
  and engineering functions.
 Data export
 		   - logged data can be exported to other applications (i.e. spreadsheets or
  standard database systems).
Network compatible   - full client/server operation if required.
  Internet support
 		   - can be hosted within Internet Explorer (V4 and above) and monitored via the
  internet
